OK, so if you are not at a sporting event, you probably don’t look quite as bad as this guy, BUT you may very well be feeling this way beneath your calm and cool exterior.  Let’s face it guys… us girls can be positively annoying.  We do things that don’t necesarily make a lot of sense to you and this can be particularly frustrating when you are attempting to get your ex back.

The Truth About Girls:

Something that I’ve found that most guys don’t know about us is that we can really put up a good front. So, we can look like we have it all together on the outside (if that is what we want you to think), and really just be falling apart on the inside.  The crazy thing though is that most girls expect you to KNOW when they are hurting… even if we are faking it really, really well. 

Amazingly enough, this is even true of your ex girlfriend.   She may very well look like she doesn’t care, but underneath she is probably bleeding inside.

You see girls have a kind of sixth sense about when other people are hurting, and we kind of assume that you as a guy have the same sixth sense.  Which is totally unfair, but it is the reality of things.

What this means to you:

If you really and truly want to get your ex girlfriend back, then it helps to know that getting angry or upset with her will actually work against you.  You see, she expects you to recognize that she is hurting (even if it doesn’t look like it), and she expects you to act with empathy towards her.

 
For us girls, that usually just means listening to what we have to say, and not trying to "fix it".   We put a very high value on just being able to talk to someone.  So, if you are working on getting your ex girlfriend back, then just listening is one of the best things you can do to win back her heart.

#1 – Desperation is a losing strategy

When you suffer through a breakup, and you really didn’t want it to happen in the first place (or you realize after the fact that it was a mistake to breakup), you often fall into what I call the Spiral Of Desperation.

When you are in the Spiral of Desperation, you act kind of crazy.  You ask your friends (and usually his) about what went wrong. You call or text obsessively, and you become just a little bit neurotic.  When you are in the Spiral of Desperation almost everything you do , unfortunately comes across as desperate and crazy. This is not one of the good ways to get ex back.

#2 – Realize that you are OK all by yourself

While nobody can, or should, live life without a support system, one of the most positive things you can do for yourself right now is to KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are worthwhile and can live without your ex, if need be.

Take a few weeks to a month without contact… Then present your opening move.  Next, we’ll move on to one of my favorite ways to get ex back.

#3 – How to open the door to get your ex back.

After you’ve taken some time to yourself, you can use this opening move to open up the lines of communication. 

– Call – no texting or email – or handwrite your ex
– Agree with the breakup.  Tell them they were right.

What this does is Relationship Judo.  You start to pull them to you instead of push them away.  Check out a great video that explains this technique in detail here.
